Project Lead

I played a central role in the development of the Shared Decision-Making Toolkit, a practice-oriented resource created in partnership with The Mama Glow Foundation and Aetna of CVS Health. My work focused on translating shared decision-making theory into concrete, usable tools for clinicians, care managers, and birth workers operating within complex healthcare systems. This included shaping the conceptual framework, contributing to content development and editorial clarity, and ensuring the toolkit reflected principles of equity, patient autonomy, and culturally responsive care. The final resource was designed to support more transparent, values-aligned clinical encounters—particularly for pregnant and parenting people navigating institutional healthcare settings.

As Project Lead of First Foods Justice: Nurturing Our Babies to Nurture Ourselves, I led the end-to-end development of the course, overseeing its conceptualization, content architecture, and execution. My role involved shaping the pedagogical framework, coordinating subject-matter expertise, and translating first food justice theory into a coherent, accessible learning experience rooted in historical truth, community accountability, and restorative care. I managed curriculum flow, narrative cohesion, and instructional design to ensure the course honored Black breastfeeding histories while equipping participants with practical, culturally responsive lactation knowledge. Through this work, I helped build a course that functions not only as professional training, but as a site of validation, healing, and reinvestment in community-based care.

Executive Producer

I led the strategic vision, content development, and cross-functional execution of a consumer-facing educational resource designed to support families navigating infant feeding decisions. I oversaw the guide’s conceptual framework, ensuring it balanced evidence-based guidance with culturally responsive, affirming language accessible to a broad range of caregivers. My role included stewarding narrative direction, coordinating contributors, and aligning clinical accuracy with brand integrity and community trust. Through this work, I helped produce a guide that centers caregiver autonomy, reduces confusion and stigma around infant feeding, and delivers clear, compassionate education at scale.
